How to help.

You can help us continue our work here at Sponsor an Orphan in several ways. Since we are a non profit organization we rely on financial donations so the orphans in the Kisiizi area can continue going to school.

For a regular donation of £15 a month you can help a specific child. Every penny of your donation will provide this orphan with school supplies, a uniform, a mattress to sleep on, a blanket, a lantern, soap, Vaseline, clothes, and a Bible. Your monthly donation will also pay for school fees and a meetings where orphans receive extra schooling, counseling, and a nutritious meal.

You can also make one off donations if you are not able to support an orphan long term, which are used to provide essential goods, for instance:

• £5 buys a Bible for an orphan
• £10 provides a pair of strong shoes
• £30 buys an orphan starter pack containing mattress, blanket, lantern, soap, clothes and Bible

You may pay in any way that suits your circumstances, standing order forms are available for you to use here. If you wish to pay by cheque, either in a lump sum or by installments we ask you to make your cheque payable to 'Sponsor an Orphan', as we operate this scheme through this registered charity and its bank account.

As a registered charity we are able to claim Gift Aid. Gift Aid is tax relief on money donated to UK charities. In short we can reclaim tax in order to increase the value of your donation. Gift Aid forms are available here if you wish to make your gift go further.
