We are very proud of some of our students who are acheving passes at S6, the equivalent of our 'A' levels.  This year two girls, Fay and Peron, gained a good overall number of credits, sufficent for them to apply to university. As time passes and children have been supported through continuous education as a result of your donations we should see a number of students achieving this qualifiaction.

Our problem is that we do not have sufficient funds to support students who have acieved this standard and only the VERY best get government aid. 

So we are very pleased to announce the setting up of the Dorothea Burrough Fund to help gifted students.

The fund has been made posible by the generosity of the Burrough family, who, upon the death of Dorothea, a loyal suppoter of Sponsor an Orphan since its beginning, have allowed donations in her memory to be sent to Sponsor an Orphan. We have decided to use this money to seed a university fund. We extend our sympathy and great thanks to the family at this time.
