Full circle..
If you read Darius' story posted in October 2008 (still available on more news stories) you will know that he was one of the first students we sponsored at University for a course in graphic design. It was hard for us, after Darius gained his qualification, to insist that now he had to earn his own way and we could not afford to pay for further courses.
I recieved the following e-mail from Darius last week
"its long time, How are you? Hope your fine. Here am trying hard with business. Now my business is growing slowly by slowly and i hope it will reach somewhere.
Now am able to pay school fees for my brother Emaus who is taking Medical Labaratory here in Kampala. Now he has finished his first semister and now taking a training at the sametime assisting at Kisiizi Hospital.
Hope everybody is fine. Please send my regards to everyone. May God bless u."
A boy who we managed to help is now making enough money to support his brother-who is contributing to the work of Kisiizi!
That is what we are about-ultimate self sufficiency for family units.
