Sponsor an Orphan is part of the parent charity 'Sponsor a Nurse'. 'Sponsor a Nurse' was called this as the original concept for the charity was that individual nurses would be sponsored in the same way as children are sponsored. As time has evolved SAN has developed its aid to Kisiizi Hospital in a variety of ways, but not through individual sponsorship! So we have taken a re-think and have registered the name 'Kisiizi Partners' with the charity commission; this seems to be a name that 'does what it says on the tin!'

The name was launched at Freinds of Kisiizi day last week November 7th. 'Sponsor an Orphan' does what it says but I hope it will become to be known as 'Kisiizi Orphans', the same as the webmail address, this is subject to approval!

I had hoped to upload our new gift catalogue in the new name onto this site, but as yet that is not possible.
